Our SurfnLodge and BikenLodge divisions now offer a wide choice of packages at our hand picked watersports and summer alpine activity destinations, while OceanLodge holidays provide the chance to just kick back and relax by the beach in style.

Whether at the luxury or the budget end of the scale we think that Lodges and smaller accommodations offer atmosphere and character you don't get in large resorts or traditional hotels. Wherever you choose to visit us all our own operations are independent and 'owner-run' - your guarantee of customer care and the personal touch.

Being a BoardnLodge.com guest means you'll be staying in a beautiful part of the world. We try as much as possible to reduce any negative impact of our operations in these areas but our customers can help too. We encourage use of other means of transport where possible but accept that plane is often the only practical method of travelling to many of our destinations. This is why we offer customers the opportunity to off-set the carbon emissions produced when they fly. At the bottom of each page you will find an emissions calculator with a link through to www.climatecare.org where you can make a voluntary contribution, based on the distance you will be traveling, towards their work in carbon reduction and environmental protection projects.

Carbon off-setting is not the whole answer to the travel industry's contribution to the worlds climate crisis. The projects supported by carbon off-setting are worthwhile however, and beneficial to a world in which travel plays a positive role showing us of a world worth protecting and also benefing millions in economic and developmental terms.

This season we have launched, what we plan to be, the first of several eco-lodges. We are very proud to offer our customers the Tarentaise Eco Lodge which provides luxury, low impact, alpine accommodation and is one of the first Eco Lodges of its kind to be found in Europe. Travel by train to the Tarentaise Eco Lodge and we'll discount your holiday cost by 5%. In time we aim to extent this policy to as many of our desinations as possible.
